For clients who desire it, we offer a two-fold plan of care — addressing mental/emotional health and spiritual well-being together.
With your consent and guidance, we respectfully integrate biblical worldview and Christian practices with gold-standard psychological treatment (CBT, ACT, DBT-informed, trauma-focused approaches, etc.). Your faith is honored and your growth is supported by methods that are both clinically sound and spiritually meaningful.
Marrying Psychology and Faith
What integration can look like (tailored to you):
- Prayer: incorporated only if you request it.
- Scripture engagement: pairing relevant passages with cognitive restructuring or values work (e.g., journaling, lament/psalms for grief, etc.).
- Biblical affirmations: crafting Biblically grounded, truth-based statements to counter unhelpful thoughts, aligned with CBT worksheets and thought records.
- Religious coping strategies: Prayers, Sabbath/rest rhythms, gratitude practices, forgiveness work (when clinically appropriate and safe), community support planning.
- Values-aligned action: clarifying faith-informed values (ACT) and translating them into small, measurable steps between sessions.
- Care coordination (with your written permission): optional collaboration with pastors/faith leaders for consistent support.

How it works in practice: together we set clear, measurable goals, then build a care plan that may include therapy skills practice plus faith-based homework (e.g., coping scripts + a short reading plan, grounding exercises + breathing/prayer). We check in on symptoms and progress regularly so the plan remains effective for your needs.
Participation in Christian integration is completely optional and client-led — you can dial it up, dial it down, or choose standard evidence-based therapy without faith elements at any time. We are sensitive to denominational differences, spiritual wounds, and differing religious beliefs/expression.
Integration is always trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and never prescriptive. Our commitment is simple: compassionate, expert care that supports your whole person.
