Augustin & Augustin Psychology is now providing supervision…
If you are looking for a psychologist qualified to provide supervision in the state of Florida, we can help.
As licensed clinical psychologists, our clinicians, Dr. Josie and Dr. Dyona, can provide supervision to enable you to meet the licensure requirements for your degree in the mental health field.
Supervision is not a “top down approach” where your supervisor just tells you what to do.

01
Instead, your supervisor will use various methods and questions to help you consider various perspectives and determine the best course of action to ensure your client’s well-being.
02
Feedback will be provided regularly & your supervisor will review your performance prior to your evaluation to give you opportunities for continued improvement & ensure your continued success.

What is supervision?
Supervision is a space to learn, grow, and develop into the clinician you want to become. It allows interns and residents who are not yet independently licensed to gain experience under the guidance of a qualified, licensed professional who can provide support, feedback, and mentorship along the way.
As a supervisee, you’ll have a supportive space to build your clinical experience and strengthen your confidence as a clinician. Supervision can help you sharpen your clinical and diagnostic skills, think through challenging cases, explore different ways of understanding and treating client concerns, and navigate ethical and professional questions that arise in your work.
You’ll also have opportunities to strengthen your treatment planning, develop your case conceptualization skills, explore different theoretical approaches, and discover your own unique therapeutic style. The goal isn’t simply to complete your required clinical hours: it’s to help you become a thoughtful, capable, and confident clinician as you move toward independent practice.
